(Daegu = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Hyun-tae = The Daegu Municipal Election Commission announced that it held the 'Communication and Empathy Election Performance with Citizens' on the Suseongmot floating stage on the 2nd.

The performance held on this day was designed to draw citizens' interest and boost the atmosphere of participation in voting for the 9th Nationwide Local Elections to be held on June 3.

During the performance, stages of various music artists continued for 100 minutes, including a performance by Jinjo Crew, who achieved the world's first B-boy Grand Slam, as well as fusion jazz and Korean traditional music performances by the EK Music Ensemble, and northern and Pangut performances.

During the performance, information about the local elections was also shared with citizens through an election quiz event.

An official from the Daegu Municipal Election Commission said, "We hope that this communication and empathy election performance will serve as an opportunity to increase citizens' interest in the 9th Nationwide Local Elections and create an atmosphere of participation together."
