B-boy SKIM, who is active as a WDSF core member, joined the 11th 'Breaking Project' to support the challenge of South Korean youth breakers.

Co-hosted and organized by the SBS Cultural Foundation and the Korea Breaking Federation (KBF), the competition was held on August 15th at the SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul. It was an event where youth b-boys and b-girls, who will lead the future breaking stage, gathered in one place to showcase their skills and individuality.

In particular, this competition gained more significance as WDSF core members, who have participated in the judging and operation of international breaking stages including the Olympics and World Championships, took part. Based on their accumulated experience and professional standards in the international arena, they judged the youth athletes, enhancing the fairness and professionalism of the competition.

SKIM, the leader of Jinjo Crew and a WDSF core member, visited the venue as a 'BREAKING SPECIALIST'. Based on his long-standing experience built on domestic and international breaking stages, he closely watched the youth athletes' challenges and shared various moments of the competition.

Launched in 2021, the Breaking Project goes beyond a competition that simply determines winners, continuing various support programs so that winners can consistently active and grow.

This Breaking Project, joined by WDSF core members with international expertise and B-boy SKIM, concluded as a meaningful stage that confirmed the potential of young athletes and cheered on the future of South Korean breaking.
